Woman Found Dead In Submerged Car At Popular Suffolk County Beach
A woman was found dead in a submerged car on Long Island after police received a 911 call of a vehicle in the water. The unidentified 56-year-old woman was discovered around 8:25 a.m., Tuesday, June 29, near the boat ramps of Iron Pier Beach in Riverhead. According to Riverhead Police, a patrol officer who responded to the call swam to the submerged vehicle a found the deceased woman inside.
