22-Year-Old Killed After Car Crashes Into Long Island Home An investigation is underway after a 22-year-old man was killed when his car crashed into a house on Long Island. The incident happened around 1:50 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 3 in Elmont. Nassau County Police detectives said that a 27-year-old man was driving a box truck east on Old Northern Boulevard near Tatterson Street in Roslyn at 4:49 p.m. on Wednesday, April 14 when he struck a Ford van in the intersection.
