Yaaas Tea, which first started serving customers in 2018, has now opened the doors to its highly-anticipated Patchogue location on Thursday, July 13.

Located at 38 South Ocean Avenue, the bubble tea shop (which was voted Best Bubble Tea twice in the Bethpage Best of Long Island Awards) has already cemented itself as one of the best places for a sweet treat in the village in the first few days it's been open.

“Yaaas Tea makes fresh Boba every hour. Anybody can sell boba tea with some old, broken boba. This will never happen at Yaaas Tea,” wrote Yelp reviewer Bill S. of Long Island.

He visited the Patchogue location and was able to speak to the owner, who informed him that Yaaas Tea uses freshly-made coconut milk just for the shop.

“One sip and I can tell the difference, it's the quality ingredients being used in any Yaaas Tea.”

In addition to classics such as milk tea, taro milk tea, and the like, the cafe offers flavor-packed specialty drinks, such as their signature Brown Sugar BOBO, a twist on a traditional brown sugar boba drink that adds sea salt cream foam on top.

For customers looking for a bit of energy to go along with their boba, Yaaas has created a number of espresso-based sips, such as the iced caramel brulee BOBO, which combines brown sugar boba with espresso, milk, caramel, and sea salt cream.

Those who aren’t thirsty can still satisfy their sweet tooth with desserts like white chocolate chip cookies or jar cakes that come in multiple flavors.

Bill wrote, “[T]heir baked goods slay!”

“Their cookies are crunchy (my favorite) and the cakes they make are unique.”

Other reviewers on Facebook cite the shop for its incredibly quick service, freshly made treats, and delicious concoctions.

“Absolutely the best Bubble Tea, my new addiction,” wrote Facebook user Joann Blum in a review for another Yaaas Tea location.

Though Joann wrote that she drives “20 mins or so there and 20 mins or so back,” she said that the drinks are “so worth the ride!”

Yaaas Tea is open daily from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. with plans to open up four more Long Island locations.
