Police are asking the public's help in as they search for two women wanted for accessing an employee-only area of a Long Island clothing store, stealing the owner's wallet and running up thousands of dollars in charges.

It happened on Friday, July 12 just before 1:30 p.m. in Greenvale.

According to Nassau County Police detectives, two female subjects (see photo above) while inside Meika, a clothing store, located at 45 Glen Cove Road, gained access to an employee-only area and removed the owner’s wallet that contained credits cards and cash.

The owner, a 59-year-old female, was alerted to an unauthorized purchase using her credit card for an amount exceeding $3000. She then viewed the store's surveillance cameras, observed the pictured subjects entering the employee-only area and observed that her wallet was missing.

Detectives request anyone with information regarding this incident or if they can identify the pictured subjects to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-Tips. All callers will remain anonymous.
