Suspect On Loose After Armed Robbery At Long Island T-Mobile Store

A gun-wielding masked robber made off with several stolen cell phones from a Long Island T-Mobile store, police said.

According to Nassau County Police, an African American man entered the T-Mobile store on Sunrise Highway in Massapequa Park at approximately 7:20 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 19.

Police said that the suspect showed a handgun, ordered a pair of employees in the store to the floor and stole an undisclosed amount of cellphones. He then fled on foot in an unknown direction.

No injuries were reported.

The suspect is described as being in his late 20s, between 6-foot and 6-foot-2 with an average build. He was wearing a long green jacket and a dark mask at the time of the robbery.
