Police Investigating After Three Bullet Casing Found On Long Island Street

Police are investigating after three bullet casing were found following a shots fired notification on Long Island

The incident took place around 12:32 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 12, on Shonnard Avenue in Freeport, said the Nassau County Police.

According to detectives, Freeport officers received a 911 call for a “Shot Spotter” activation on Shonnard Avenue. Upon arrival officers located three bullet shell casings in front of 17 Shonnard Avenue. 

No injuries or damage to area properties occurred.
