A man was seriously injured after being shot while riding in the back of an SUV on a busy roadway on Long Island, police said.
Suffolk County Police Fifth Squad detectives are investigating the shooting that took place around 8:45 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 7, in the East Patchogue/North Bellport area.
