The incidents began around 9:40 a.m., Thursday, April 8, at the Bellerose LIRR station, said the Nassau County Police.
According to detectives, officers responded to the station for a call of a man physically menacing three women at three separate locations in the station.
Upon arrival, officers located the man, who was acting irrationally and was being detained by three bystanders.
As officers were placing the man into handcuffs to place he appeared to have a medical emergency. The officers immediately removed the handcuffs and began life-saving measures.
Multiple doses of Narcan were administered and the man was transported to an area hospital for treatment and evaluation.
The investigation is ongoing.
