A 69-year-old man allegedly violated a court-issued order of protection in Northern Westchester by texting someone, police said. The Yorktown Police Department announced the arrest of Peekskill resident Michael Rispoli, who was charged with a misdemeanor count of second-degree criminal contempt for allegedly sending messages to his victim. A 37-year-old Northern Westchester man is facing charges for claiming he was shot at during a robbery over a stolen car that never happened, police said. At approximately 2:20 a.m. on Sunday, April 3, a man reported to the Yorktown Police Department that he was involved in an alleged motor vehicle crash on Strawberry Road in the area of Foothill Street in Mohegan Lake. A 51-year-old Northern Westchester man is facing charges after an alleged road-rage incident where he damaged a woman’s car, police said. At approximately 4:45 p.m. on Monday, March 28, there was a report of criminal mischief involving two drivers in Yorktown that required police intervention. Some beachgoers at Mohegan Lake Beach Park in Yorktown are pressing charges after a manager locked them inside a fenced area and unlawfully imprisoned them during a dispute, police said. Officers at Yorktown Police Headquarters received a trespassing complaint at approximately 5:45 p.m. on June 24 from the private beach, which led to an investigation, which led to the arrest of a beach manager who allegedly locked several members inside a gate. Man, 21, Killed In One-Vehicle Hudson Valley Crash
A 21-year-old man was killed after driving into a utility pole in an early morning crash on Route 202 near Yorktown Police Headquarters. Police are investigating the crash that took the life of Yorktown resident Alexander Delic, who was killed in a one-vehicle crash at approximately 3:30 a.m. Saturday.
