Man, Woman Struck While In Wappingers Falls Crosswalk, Police Say State Police are investigating after a man and woman were struck by a vehicle while crossing a busy roadway in the area. The incident took place around 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 18 in Village of Wappingers Falls while the two were crossing in a crosswalk on West Main Street at the intersection with West Street, said Wappingers Falls Police Lt. Paolo Capparelli. One of the victims was transported to MidHudson Regional Hospital and the other to Vassar Brothers Medical Center, he added.
