School In Poughkeepsie Searched After Threat Of Gun On Campus Information that a student may have a gun on the campus of Poughkeepsie Middle School caused a search of the school and a full-scale investigation. The incident took place on Tuesday when the City of Poughkeepsie Police Department received a report that a student may have possessed a weapon on school grounds during an after-school program, said Capt.
