Attempted Murder Suspect Extradited To Hudson Valley To Face Charges, Police Say A man from the region wanted for the alleged attempted murder and the violent assault of another man has been caught in Florida and extradited back to the area. Ulster County resident Mainor E. Sagastume, age 33, of Kingston, was charged following extradition from Lee County in Flordia on Wednesday, Oct. 11.  According to Capt. Hudson Valley Sex Offender Charged With Violent Assault, Cops Say Police in the Hudson Valley have charged a sex offender with a violent assault and robbery of a man after it was caught on a public camera system. The incident took place in Orange County around 11:10 a.m., Sunday, March 12 in the area of 8-10 Main Street in Middletown. According to Lt. Jeffry Thoelen of the Middletown Police, officers responded to the area after receiving a call reporting a fight. 'It's Time To Surrender': Family Appeals To 23-Year-Old Ex-HS Athlete Wanted For Slayings The family of a college senior who played varsity football in Fairfield County and who is the subject of a massive search by law enforcement for a string of slayings is asking him to surrender. Police began searching for the University of Connecticut student Peter Manfredonia, 23, after State Police say that he was seen leaving the scene of the brutal murder of Thomas DeMers in Willington, on Friday, May 22.
