UConn’s men’s basketball program hasn’t been the same since it left the Big East Conference seven years ago. Now it appears the Huskies will leave the American Athletic Conference and be back in the Big East for all sports except football, according to multiple reports. A former Westchester high school basketball standout had his one shining moment late Monday night. Eric Paschall, a 6-foot-9 transfer student from Fordham University, was named to the NCAA Men’s Basketball Championship All-Tournament Team as he helped Villanova to the national title in a one-sided win against Michigan on Monday, topping the Wolverines 79-62 to claim the crown.
