Traffic Alert: I-84 Crash Causes Stop-Go Delays, Route 32 Reopens After Downed Pole This story has been updated. Motorists had to endure two major slowdowns on I-84 and Route 32 in Orange County. The rollover crash occurred around 9:32 a.m. Monday on I-84 eastbound near Ext 8B in Newburgh. State police traffic is getting by, but traffic is backed-up and slowdowns are occurring. Route 32 was closed in Cornwall from Route 107/Quaker Avenue. and Route 65/Angola Road, due to a downed utility pole and wires from late in the morning until just before 6 p.m.

It was a slow go for commuters in parts of the area during the Thursday morning commute as a result of four separate incidents.
