Police Searching For Man Who Jumped From Mid-Hudson Bridge Police in the area are searching for a man who jumped off a bridge in the Hudson Valley The incident took place at around 11 a.m., Thursday, Jan. 13 at the span of the Mid-Hudson Bridge in Ulster County. That's when officers responded to a 911 call of a man jumping off the bridge, said Chief James Janso of the Town of Lloyd Police. "An extensive search from multiple agencies was conducted and at this time the victim has not been located," Janso said. Kayaker Who Could Not Swim Rescued After Vessel Capsizes In Area Lake A kayaker who could not swim and had overturned his vessel was rescued by first responders in the area. The incident took place around noon on Wednesday, Aug. 4 Ulster County in the Town of Lloyd. Police received a 911 call for the capsized kayaker on Chodikee Lake near the boat launch, said Lloyd PD Chief James Janso. Body Of Mid-Hudson Bridge Jumper Pulled From River In Dutchess The body of a 53-year-old woman who jumped from the Mid-Hudson Bridge between Highland and Poughkeepsie was pulled from the Hudson River on Monday afternoon after a two-and-a-half hour search, authorities said. The woman, whose name has not yet been released, was a resident of Marlboro in Ulster County, Town of Lloyd Police said.
