Large Police Response After Out-Of-Control Poughkeepsie HS Fight This story has been updated. An out-of-control fight at Poughkeepsie High School caused a "hold-in-place" at the school as well as a large police response. The incident took place around 12:56 p.m., Monday, Nov. 18, when the City of Poughkeepsie Police received a call for help from school security, said City of Poughkeepsie Police Chief Richard T.
