Child Porn: Hudson Valley Man Charged After Images Found On Devices
A Hudson Valley man was charged with alleged possession of obscene sexual performance by a child following an investigation by New York State Police. Orange County resident Jeffrey M. Rubin, age 56, of the town of Hamptonburgh, was arrested on Thursday, June 8 following a search of his home. According to Trooper Steven Nevel, state police initiated an investigation of Rubin after receiving a tip on the hotline. Sex Crimes Involving Minor: Man Charged In Hudson Valley
Following a weeks-long investigation, a Northern Westchester man faces sex crime offenses that involved a minor, police say. The investigation resulted in the arrest of 31-year-old Bedford Hills resident Rony Hernandez on Friday, March 3, according to the Bedford Police Department. Hernandez was arraigned in the Town of Bedford Justice Court on a charge of first-degree criminal sexual act. Authorities added that the act involved a minor, but did not provide any futher details. High-Risk Sex Offender Found Hiding In Hudson Valley, Police Say
A registered sex offender who was allegedly found living in the region has been arrested for violating the sex offender registry. Dennis R. Fellows, age 54 of Saugerties, was arrested for the violation on Saturday, Jan. 14. According to the Saugerties Police, Fellows moved to 171 Churchland Road in Saugerties and failed to notify the registry of his address change within the required 10 days. Fellows was convicted of having sexual contact with children ages nine and 13 years old, according to the state Sex Offender Registry.
