Covid-19: Poughkeepsie City School District Staffer Tests Positive A staff member at a high school in the area has tested positive for the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). The staffer notified Poughkeepsie High School on Sunday, March 22 of a positive diagnosis, said Irwin M. Goldberg, spokesperson for the Poughkeepsie School District. Based on the facts received, the staff member was exposed to COVID-19 by someone outside of the high school community and sought testing after being notified of their potential exposure, Goldberg said.
