19: Seven Staffers, 14 Students Quarantined From Hudson Valley School
The latest confirmed positive COVID-19 case in a Westchester school district has forced nearly two dozen students and staffers into a temporary quarantine. New Rochelle interim Schools Superintendent Alex Marrero issued an alert to the community late on Monday, Nov. 16 regarding the latest positive case in the district, this time in a student at George M. Five more schools in the area are dealing with newly confirmed COVID-19 cases in students and staffers. On Wednesday, Nov. 4, the Port Jervis School District announced that a staff member at Anna S. Kuhl Elementary School reported a positive COVID-19 test in the wake of a second employee testing positive. 19: 53 Students Quarantined At High School In Fairfield County
Multiple students at a Fairfield County high school have tested positive for COVID-19 and dozens of classmates have been forced to quarantine as a precaution. Four New Canaan High School students tested positive for the virus, and the subsequent contact tracing led to 53 of their classmates to be placed into quarantine as of Tuesday, Sept. 22.
