The incident began in Mount Kisco when the Westchester County Police's Real Time Crime Center broadcast an alert that a vehicle wanted by the NYPD was operating on the Saw Mill River Parkway in Mount Kisco around 4 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 6. Officials Announce Upcoming 2-Week Road Closure In Hudson Valley State officials issued an alert about an upcoming two-week-long road closure in Northern Westchester. Route 128 is set to close between Sands Mill Road and Wampus Lakes Drive in North Castle beginning at 9 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 19, the New York State Department of Transportation announced. The road closure, which is being implemented to facilitate a culvert replacement, will last through Monday, Oct. 3, officials said. Motorists should follow the posted detour using Route 117, Route 120, and Route 22 as an alternate, according to the announcement.

Car Plows Into Store In Area A car plowed through a Northern Westchester store, injuring three. The incident took place around 1 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 4, in Bedford Hills at the Brew & Co. at 532 N. Bedford Road (Route 117), said Sgt. Patricia McGraw with the Bedford Police Department. An elderly driver became confused and drove into the store, according to McGraw.  The injuries were very minor, McGraw said.
