A delicatessen in Northern Westchester that served as a staple of its community for 45 years has closed. Bueti's Delicatessen, located in Bedford Hills at 526 Bedford Rd. (Route 117) and open since 1977, has permanently closed, according to the Mount Kisco Chamber of Commerce. Wanted Man Sets Off Search By 3 Police Agencies In Area
A man wanted by the New York City Police was spotted in Northern Westchester County, setting off a search by three agencies. The incident began in Mount Kisco when the Westchester County Police's Real Time Crime Center broadcast an alert that a vehicle wanted by the NYPD was operating on the Saw Mill River Parkway in Mount Kisco around 4 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 6. Officials Announce Upcoming 2-Week Road Closure In Hudson Valley
State officials issued an alert about an upcoming two-week-long road closure in Northern Westchester. Route 128 is set to close between Sands Mill Road and Wampus Lakes Drive in North Castle beginning at 9 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 19, the New York State Department of Transportation announced. The road closure, which is being implemented to facilitate a culvert replacement, will last through Monday, Oct. 3, officials said. Motorists should follow the posted detour using Route 117, Route 120, and Route 22 as an alternate, according to the announcement.

Car Plows Into Store In Area
A car plowed through a Northern Westchester store, injuring three. The incident took place around 1 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 4, in Bedford Hills at the Brew & Co. at 532 N. Bedford Road (Route 117), said Sgt. Patricia McGraw with the Bedford Police Department. An elderly driver became confused and drove into the store, according to McGraw. Man Admits To Attempting To Abduct Woman At Gunpoint In Hudson Valley
A 23-year-old man has admitted to pulling a gun out and demanding a woman get into her car as he attempted to abduct her on the side of a busy roadway in Northern Westchester. Cortlandt resident Kyle Gregg has admitted to the attempted kidnapping of a woman in Mount Kisco in January. Route 9A Closure Scheduled
There will be weekend lane closures on Route 9A in Westchester. The New York State Department of Transportation announced that from approximately 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 20, there will be a lane closed in Mount Pleasant between Route 141 and Route 117. A high-speed police chase that ended with a crash has closed a major Westchester County roadway in two towns and injured a police officer, according to the Westchester County Police. Motorists planning on traveling on the Taconic State Parkway on Saturday, Feb. 3 may see delays as crews complete roadwork in Mount Pleasant.
