Man Charged After Threatening To Kill Motorists At Stop Light In Wappingers Falls, Police Say A man was arrested on an "extreme risk" protection order for allegedly scaring motorists during a road rage incident that was caught on a Ring camera in the region.  The incident took place in Dutchess County on Saturday, Feb. 24, in Wappingers Falls. Wappingers Falls Police said the department received notification from Ring Neighbors, a public online social media platform, on Saturday warning of a "possible crime" in the area. Amazon Subsidiary Recalls 350,000 Doorbells After Reports Of Them Catching On Fire Hundreds of thousands of Amazon’s “Ring” video doorbells are being recalled due to concerns they could overheat or catch fire. Amazon announced that it is recalling approximately 350,000 of its 2nd generation video doorbells after the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) received 23 reports of doorbells igniting, causing minor property damage and eight reported burns from users.
