LaGrange Home Built In 1795 Heavily Damaged By Fire A LaGrange home built in 1795 received heavy damage following a fire on the second floor and the left side of the home, the LaGrange Fire Department said. The fire started around 10:40 a.m., Tuesday, Aug. 27, at 15 Skidmore Road, said LaGrange Fire Chief Barry Ward. According to Lt. Robert Benson, the crash occurred around 8 a.m., Monday in the area of South Quaker Lane and Dana Place. Once on scene, officers found a head-on crash between the bus and the car with a possible ejection.
