The incident took place in Dutchess County on Monday, July 3 on Route 9G near the intersection of Lasher Road in the town of Red Hook. Red Hook Police said officers responded to a call for help after the driver found himself trapped on the roof of his SUV which was partially submerged in a creek with fast-moving water. Man Airlifted Following Two-Vehicle Crash In Dutchess A 34-year-old man was airlifted to an area hospital with serious injuries following a two-vehicle crash. It happened around 11:20 a.m., Monday, Sept. 6, in Dutchess County on Route 9G in Red Hook. The man was driving a 1986 Suzuki motorcycle northbound on Route 9G approaching the Rokeby Road intersection when he was hit by an Irvington woman driving a 2011 Toyota passenger car who failed to yield the right of way, according to the Red Hook Police.
