Suspect On Loose After Armed Robbery At Popular Poughkeepsie Deli Police are asking the public for help to identify a man suspected in an armed robbery at a popular deli. The robbery took place around 1:22 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 2, at Muzzies, at 195 Mill St., in Poughkeepsie, police said. The suspect was described as wearing black Nike sneakers, a black, hooded Columbia sweatshirt and had a black handgun, police said. During the incident, the suspect allegedly demanded money then fled the store on foot heading north on North Bridge Street, then ran towards the Charles Street Housing Complex. Police Seek Info On Poughkeepsie Juveniles Shooting BB Guns At Vehicles City of Poughkeepsie police are looking for reports of additional incidents after two juveniles were caught shooting BB gun pellets at vehicles in the area of Mill and North Bridge streets on Tuesday and Wednesday, according to the City of Poughkeepsie Police. Police stationed two officers in the area after receiving reports that at least three cars had been hit, shattering their windows. The officers were able to locate the two juveniles Wednesday as they were shooting at passing cars, police said.
