Police: Woman Made $3K In Purchases With Credit Card Stolen From Town Of Poughkeepsie Resident A two-month investigation into identity theft in Dutchess County led to the arrest of a 20-year-old woman who allegedly stole the credit card information of an area resident and stole thousands of dollars, police said. Officers from the Town of Poughkeepsie Police Department arrested local resident Kaihla Thompson on Oct. 25, following the investigation into the alleged identity theft.
