Teen Seriously Injured Crossing Town Of Poughkeepsie Roadway A teen was seriously injured after being hit by a vehicle in the area. The incident took place around 2:36 p.m., Thursday, March 4 on Route 44 near the intersection of Hornbeck Road in the Town of Poughkeepsie, Captain Michael O'Dowd said.  According to O'Dowd, the crash took place when a 39-year-old town of Poughkeepsie woman collided with a 17-year-old male while crossing the roadway.
