Fire Displaces Salt Point Family Of Four A family of four in Dutchess County was temporarily displaced over Memorial Day Weekend after their house went up in flames, destroying a garage and partial living space. All hands were on deck at approximately 7:30 p.m. on Friday, May 24, where there was a reported house fire on Ring Road in Salt Point. Crews were able to contain the fire mostly to the garage - which housed an apartment - before it spread to the main house. Two-Alarm House Fire Breaks Out In Red Hook Red Hook firefighters and police responded to a house fire on Read Road, according to the New York State Police. The two-alarm fire, which started around 3:30 p.m. at 104 Read Road, drew numerous departments on scene, officials said. Motorists were asked to use caution in the area.  This is a developing story.
