Area Man Charged With Murdering Friend, DA Announces A Westchester man has been indicted for the murder of a friend, the District Attorney’s Office announced. The body of a woman in her 60s was found at approximately noon in a residence on Beaumont Circle in Yonkers at approximately noon on Monday, Jan. 13, police said.  Upon arrival, officers made entry into an apartment and found an unresponsive woman with stab wounds on the floor.
