Woman Allegedly Attempts To Hit Officer, Slams Into Police Car In Dutchess A woman attempted to hit a local officer with her vehicle, ramming a police cruiser, and then taking officers on a slow-speed chase that ended in a crash, according to authorities. The incident began around 7:50 a.m., Monday, Nov. 30, when the Hyde Park Police were dispatched to the Rhinebeck Savings Bank located at 1075 Violet Ave. for a reported suspicious vehicle. Man Charged With Assault After MidHudson Hospital Reports Attack A 23-year-old Hyde Park man was arrested on assault charges after police responded to the MidHudson Regional Hospital for a report that a man had been attacked. After responding to the hospital to interview the 20-year-old victim, Hyde Park police went to a residence off of East Dorsey Lane, where multiple people were interviewed regarding the assault, said Lt.
