Two Dutchess County alleged drug dealers have been charged with the criminal sale of controlled substances after an investigation by a drug task force. Dutchess County residents Tyrese Elting, age 24, of the town of Poughkeepsie, and Brandon Mima, age 20, from the city of Poughkeepsie were arrested on Tuesday, Nov. 14 during separate raids by the Dutchess County Task Force. Three Hudson Valley residents have been charged with the criminal sale of a controlled substance following an investigation into drug sales in the region due to overdoses. The arrest took place in Dutchess County on Friday, May 26 at home in the city of Poughkeepsie by the Dutchess County Drug Task Force. Det. Sgt. Police Investigating 3 Hudson Valley Overdose Deaths That May Be Linked To Fentanyl
Police are investigating three overdose deaths suspected to have resulted from fentanyl in Westchester County. On Monday, Oct. 17, the Yonkers Police Department said it learned of three apparent overdose deaths that may have been connected to the same source of heroin, which is believed to have been laced with fentanyl.
