ID Released For Fishkill Fatal Crash Victim A Beacon woman has been identified as the victim in a two-vehicle fatal crash in Fishkill that closed Route 9D for hours. Hilary R. Holmes, 49, was killed when the crash occurred around 9 a.m. Monday between a 2009 Honda Accord and a 2013 International box truck after she lost control of the vehicle, said Capt. John Watterson of the Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office. Preliminary investigation revealed that the Honda was northbound on Route 9D near Farmview Lane when Holmes lost control.
