The new store will be located in Fairfield County, on nearly 11 acres of land off Connecticut Avenue next to I-95 in Norwalk, the company announced on Tuesday, March 1. The supermarket will be two levels and about 95,000 square feet, and it will include a multi-level parking garage, representatives said. Long-Awaited Hudson Valley Wegmans Inches Closer With Signed Deal Wegmans, the popular grocery chain known for its massive stores and food courts, is closer to opening in Harrison thanks to recent negotiations between Newmark Knight Frank (NKF) and the family-owned grocer. NKF represented the buyer and the seller, successfully negotiating the sale of a 20-acre parcel at 106-110 Corporate Park Drive in Harrison. The property was sold by Normandy Real Estate Partners to Wegmans Food Markets in a deal that closed Thursday, Jan. 4.
