'Huge Spike' In Auto Thefts Reported In Putnam There has been a “huge spike” in auto thefts in recent weeks, according to Putnam County Sheriff Robert Langley, Jr. The Sheriff’s Office issued an alert warning that there has been an uptick in auto thefts not only in Putnam County, but also throughout the state.
