Hudson Valley School District Closes After Parent Is Quarantined A school district has become the second in Westchester and third in the Hudson Valley to close after a parent with flu-like symptoms has been quarantined. Suspect ID'd In Fatal Stabbing Of College Student From Hudson Valley The identity has been released for the suspect who was apprehended following the fatal stabbing of a 19-year-old Binghamton University student from Westchester. Joao Souza of Rye Brook was stabbed to death at a residential hall late Sunday night and the suspect,  was at large until he was apprehended Monday.
