Recall Issued For Popcorn Product Sold At Supermarkets In NY, CT, Other States A company has recalled packages of popcorn that were sold at supermarkets in New York, Connecticut, and other states. Snak King announced on Tuesday, April 12, that it is recalling some of its five-ounce packages of "O Organics Sea Salt Organic Popcorn" because the products may be cross-contaminated with an undeclared milk allergen. The recalled products have "Best if Used By" dates of 9/24/2022 and 9/25/2022. Leafy Greens With Listeria Sold At Area Grocery Stores, New Test Reveals Listeria has been found in leafy greens from a variety of grocery store chains in New York, Connecticut and New Jersey, according to Consumer Reports. The nonprofit organization says six of 284 samples bought from Acme, Costco, Hannaford and Whole Foods stores were tainted with listeria monocytogenes. The items purchased included lettuce, spinach, and kale. Consumer Reports says it found the bacteria in both unbagged and prewashed products. Mild Listeria symptoms may include a fever, muscle aches, nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea, according to the Food & Drug Administration.  I…
