Sucich-Jiava Begins Work As Wappinger Supervisor

WAPPINGER, N.Y. -- Lori Sucich-Jiava began her new role as Wappinger Supervisor on Tuesday, according to the Poughkeepsie Journal.

Sucich-Jiava was voted to the position unanimously by the town council on Monday. She had lost a narrow election to Democrat Greg Quinn, who resigned the position in December due to health issues, the Poughkeepsie Journal reported.
