POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. -- Town of Poughkeepsie residents and business owners who are interested in learning how the police department works are invited to attend the next Citizen Police Academy.
The ten-week program will run from March 14, through May 16, and will meet each Tuesday from 6:30 to 9:00 p.m.

Eligible applicants will be subject to a background investigation before consideration for the program and participants will be selected based upon a successful background investigation.
