DUTCHESS COUNTY, N.Y. -- A 23-year-old man found himself behind bars after failing to show up in court to face drug charges, according to the Town of Lloyd Police.

Joshua Peterson, 23, of Poughkeepsie was arrested Thursday, Dec. 15, on a bench warrant for failing to appear in court, said Lt. James Janso.

Peterson was charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance.

He was arraigned in the Town of Lloyd Court and is being held at the Ulster County Jail on $5,000 bail or $20,000 insurance bond.
