Hyde Park Man Nabbed After Narcotics Investigation

A 54-year-old Hyde Park intended to sell more 100 Oxycodone pills found in his possession following a narcotics investigation by the New York State Police Community Narcotics Enforcement Team (CNET) in the conjunction with the Town of Hyde Park Police Department.

David Seymour of North Quaker Lane was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree with the intent to sell, a Class B Felony.

State Police Investigators arrested Seymour on a vehicle traffic stop subsequent to a narcotics investigation. At the time of his arrest, Seymour was found to unlawfully possess more than $9,000 in U.S. currency as well as the Oxycodone pills.

Seymour was arraigned before the Town of Hyde Park Justice Court and remanded to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $15,000 cash bail or $30,000 bond.
