LaGrange, N.Y. -- Even the most reliable of small vehicles need maintenance. The same apparently holds true for large fire engines.

A LaGrange fire truck was towed from the department's firehouse on Freedom Plains Road on Friday, Jan. 15, according to a post from the LaGrange Association Library, which makes its home in a neighboring building.

The Library, which posted a photograph of the incident to Facebook, claimed to have no knowledge of why the truck was being towed.

"It was taken away around 9:45 a.m. (Friday)," according to the library's post. "Impressive to see something that big being taken away."
