Amenia Man Charged With DWI In Route 22 Stop

AMENIA, N.Y. -- An Amenia man was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated after being stopped on Route 22 on Sunday, Jan. 24, according to New York State Police.

Marshall Lovell, 24, was pulled over for failing to maintain his lane of travel. Troopers suspected Lovell of being intoxicated, police said.

Lovell provided a breathalyzer sample that yielded a blood alcohol content of .19 percent, more than twice the legal limit. He is scheduled to appear in Amenia Court on Tuesday, Feb. 2, police said.
