The Dutchess County Drug Task Force allegedly executed a search warrant at 906 Wolcott Avenue in the City of Beacon on Thursday, April 25.

Police say the warrant was the result of an investigation surrounding the sales of narcotics that were allegedly taking place near the area.

The warrant was carried out without incident, police say. It resulted in the discovery of more than an ounce of cocaine, more than $1,000 in cash, various packaging materials and scales, according to police.

After the search, police arrested 30-year-old Antonio Hansen, who resides at the location. He was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell.

Hansen was arraigned in the City of Beacon Court and remanded to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $15,000 bail.

Additional charges may be pending.
