Born in New York City, Cruz retired from IBM in East Fishkill. She was a parishioner of St. Joachim -- St. John the Evangelist Church where she served as a Eucharistic minister. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters, Court Liberatta and Migente.
She is survived by her children, Roberto, Maria and Millicent; brother Carlos; grandchildren Jazmin, Austin, Billy and Brandon; "adopted" children Ross and Kari; and "adopted" grandchildren including Quan, Jy, Justy, Ross Jr., Celi, Candace, Angelia and Chelsea.
Cruz was predeceased by her parents; six brothers and sisters; and "adopted" grandson Marques.
Visiting hours will be from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 5, at Halvey Funeral Home, 24 Willow St., in Beacon. A mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 6, at St. John the Evangelist Church, 31 Willow St., in Beacon.
