WAPPINGERS FALLS, N.Y. -- Wappingers Falls resident Robert C. Hill died Friday, Jan. 8. He was 77.
Hill was employed as an electrician with Local 501 for 40 years, until his retirement from Local 3.
Born Oct. 26, 1938, in Yonkers, he was the son of Frederick and Dorothy Ryan Hill. He was an avid golfer who also enjoyed kayaking adventures. On June 22, 1973, in Yonkers, he married Claire O’Keefe, who survives at home.
He also is survived by his children, Robert Hill of Yonkers, Kerry Silva and her husband Frederick of Ardsley, Jennifer Hill of Hyde Park, Claudette King and her husband Brian of Yonkers, Gregory Hill and his wife Christine of Hyde Park; his grandchildren, Robert, Thomas, Shannon, Luke, Andrew, Emily, Madison and Brian; and many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be from 2-5 p.m. Monday at the McHoul Funeral Home Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction.
