Raymond John Budryk, 72, Of Wappingers Falls

WAPPINGERS FALLS, N.Y. -- A resident of Wappingers Falls, Raymond John Budryk, died suddenly Aug. 7. He was 72. 

He was born April 7, 1944, in Paterson, N.J.

He proudly served our country in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War and then in the Reserves for a total of 22 years until his retirement as commander. 

He is survived by his wife, Judith Reimesch; his sons and their wives, Jeffrey and Toshiko Budryk of Maebashi, Japan, John and Jennifer Budryk of Walden and Thomas and Katie Budryk of Beacon; his granddaughter, Kyoko Budryk of Maebashi, Japan; his sister, Patricia Lyons of Toms River, N.J.; and several nieces and nephews. 

Calling hours will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the Hopewell Reformed Church, 143 Beekman Road, Hopewell Junction followed by a 1 p.m. memorial service. Private interment will be in Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery.
