She was born in the Bronx, on Dec. 21, 1931, to Richard and Madeline Elliott D'Luhosch.
She was a 1949 graduate of Arlington High School. She had been a local resident for most of her life and was a resident of Kiawah Island, S.C. She was also a member of the United Presbyterian Church in Lagrangeville.
She married Robert Seils Sr. on April 21, 2002, in Poughkeepsie.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Charlanne Edmonds Osoba and Vincent Osoba of St. Augustine, Fla.; daughter Susan Edmonds-Leggiere and her partner, Charles Klesse, of Poughkeepsie; and Nancy Edmonds Hedman and Craig Hedman of Tallahassee, Fla.; grandchildren Derek Hedman, Laurel Leggiere, Kelsey Hedman and Melissa Hedman; stepchildren Kim Ward, Robert Seils, Jr., William Seils and Laura Corotlo; several step-grandchildren; one step great-grandchild; her identical twin sister, Joan Diesing, and her husband, Roger, of Wilmington, N.C.,; her sister Barbara Reed and her husband, John of Dunedin, Fla,
Services and burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St Jude’s Children's Hospital.
