WAPPINGERS FALLS, N.Y. -- Joan M. Johnson, of Wappingers Falls, died on Sunday, Sept 4. She was 62.

Born in the the Bronx, she was a senior claims manager for CareCore National. "Her life revolved around her family, friends and especially her children," information from the funeral home noted.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 9, at Straub, Catalano & Halvey Funeral Home, 55 E. Main St., in Wappingers Falls. A mass will be offered at 10 a.m. on Saturday, at St. Denis Church, 602 Beekman Rd., in Hopewell Junction. Interment will follow in Fishkill Rural Cemetery, 801 Rte. 9, in Fishkill.
