POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. -- Gaye J. Heady, 72, of Poughkeepsie, died Sunday, Oct. 30.
She was born Nov. 1, 1943, in the Bronx.
Prior to her retirement, she worked at Guideposts Magazine in Carmel.
Survivors include her daughters, Joanne Kase and her husband, Peter and Christine Taylor and her husband, Michael; brother, George Hart; grandchildren, Peter Kase Jr., Julianna Kase, Joey Taylor and Jake Taylor.
She was predeceased by her husband, Albert Heady.
The family will receive friends from 9:30-11 a.m. Tuesday at Straub, Catalano & Halvey Funeral Home, 55 E. Main St., Wappingers Falls. A funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will then follow at Fishkill Rural Cemetery, Route 9.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Dutchess County SPCA, 636 Violet Ave., Hyde Park, NY 12538.
