Carol Anne Bochar, 69, Wappingers Falls Resident

WAPPINGERS FALLS, N.Y. -- Wappingers Falls resident Carol Anne Bochar died on Wednesday, Jan. 13. She was 69.

She was born in England on May 17, 1946 to Joseph and Norma Arkless Petruzziello.

She Bochar went on to Barbizon Beauty School after graduating high school. Together with her husband, she owned and operated Tips to Toes, in Wappingers Falls, for over 20 years.

In her free time she enjoyed crafting, especially crocheting, beading and ceramics. She also loved cooking, and had a strong faith in the Lord.

Bochar is survived by her husband of 47 years, Mike; her children Michael Bochar and wife Leah, and Tasha Cucinelli and husband Sean, all of Wappingers Falls; brothers Dave Petruziello, Joey Sorrentino and Sal Petruziello; her sister Doreen Petruziello; and grandchildren Michael Bochar, and Mikayla and Alexa Cucinelli.

She was predeceased by a brother Anthony Petruziello.

Visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 16, at Straub, Catalano & Halvey Funeral Home, 55 East Main St., in Wappingers Falls. A funeral service will be held at 7:30 p.m., during the visitation.
