East Fishkill Police are investigating a number of thefts from unlocked cars in the Hillside Lake neighborhood in Wappingers Falls.
These thefts took place sometime during the overnight hours from Sunday evening to Monday morning, police said.
Residents are encouraged to always lock their vehicles and keep valuables out of sight or taken in at night and keep outside lights on to lessen your odds of being a victim, police said.
